Click “play” to see a series of performances from last years AMP festival….
The Amp Festival is an event where musicians, photographers, video producers, sound engineers and audience participate using an alternative economic framework.
Intellectual property, mechanical and synchronization rights, photographic model releases, footage and other items are traded using a barter-rather-than-pay approach.
The inner workings of the AMP festival are better understood by reading the basic participant agreements:
The Amp Accord
Organizers, Performers, Photographers and Staff sign the AMP Accord, indicating that they understand and agree to the basic framework of participant relationships.
The Amp Performers Agreement
Musicians, Masters of Ceremony and other On-Stage participants sign this agreement. Performers may only perform original, legally unencumbered material.
The Amp Photographers Agreement
Photographers share all their festival photos with the organizers, and any photo depicting performers or staff with those respective participants.
The Amp Staff Agreement
This is a draft document which outlines the manner in which we sign up Staff at the Festival. In this agreement we typically replace the term “ROLE” with “Stage Manager” or maybe “Audience Door Person”.
Concert Tickets
Ticket fine print details the agreement between ticket holders and other festival participant. This includes: No consumer electronics, recording or communication devices within performance venue.
