Jack McDonald typically performs as a duo with John Kavanagh. They perform original songs and instrumentals drawing from folk, blues and swing traditions. They play guitar, viola de gamba, mandolin, ukelele, banjo and harmonica, and will be featuring material from Jack’s recent CD, “Domestic Acoustic”.

Jack is also the recipient of the 2007 Valley Arts Award. The award was given to Jack McDonald for his steadfast support of musicians in our area, both through recording projects (Domestic Acoustic) and through the Night Kitchen (open mic variety show).
