Thieves of DAGDAD
Haligonian Tim Chisholm and local guitarist Aran Silmeryn have honed their acoustic chops for ten years by playing under adverse conditions: dark, cold meadows in semi-secret locations, teeming with heathens illuminated only by fitful torchlight in the hinterlands of Annapolis Royal. No, we’re not making this up. But now, you can see them while sitting in a chair! At the AMP Festival! Nova Scotia’s only-known aggrosexual folkmetal act, their songs, both originals and covers, deal with murder, wonder and redemption of invisible kinds, not to mention King Arthur, bagpipe-induced auto-suggestion and the defilement of
campfires.
